(I've been holding this in our drafts since Tuesday, it's been a wild week!)
Last week Tumblr announced its new Premium Theme directory and since we have been in the premium micro blogging market for a long time now (we consider ourselves the first to the market) we felt obligated to jump on board.
The moment Tumblr made the announcement we managed to get hold of them and propose that we contribute to their new section. No less than 10 minutes later we got a reply back that they were keen.
Scribble
The catch was that we had to create themes exclusively for their directory which meant we had to come up with something new and we had to do it quite fast. Luckily we are used to this kind of pressure (having created 6 micro themes in less than a week) and got straight to work.
Less than five days later we present to you our latest theme called ‘Scribble’ which is a hand drawn micro theme.
Features include:
- Flickr
- Editable sidebar headings
- Sidebar toggling
As things progress we will hopefully be adding more and more themes to their directory packed with more awesome layouts and features.
Here are some screenshots of Scribble which is being sold for $9 in the Tumblr store.

Nice one gents!!!
Wow! How do you do it? Always coming up with awesome themes! Keep up the great work!
I use the Scribbler theme for my Tumblog. It is pure awesomeness however; sometimes my Twitter feed doesnt show. Thoughts?
Scribbler theme is so useful and also look so cute at any site.
Nice work guys! Glad to see you apart of the Premium Theme directory! Good news from my favorite designers. Keep it up!
Looks Awesome & This new site of yours :::
YEAH! Love your tumblr themes! Congrats on making the "premium" list!!
I just purchased Scribble theme and like it a lot. The one snag I've come across is that I can't get my Flickr images to show in side bar despite having checked "show" box and typing in my Flickr ID in box. Any help you can provide would be appreciated.
@June - You will need to get your flickr ID from idgettr: http://idgettr.com/
Hope that helps ;)
Hey David, I'm diggin' the look of Scribble, which I just bought for my tumblr account.
Any quick-and-dirty suggestions for how I get apostrophes to render in the title line of the Text Box, and in the quote line of the Quote Box? They're a no-show, whether I try straight or curly apostrophes.
And yet, the straight apostrophes/single quotes keep showing up around the quote (where I don't want them).
Thanks in advance for any suggestions or resources! Annie
