Say Hello to 'Depth', Obox's first premium wordpress theme of 2010.
Not only is this our first theme of the year but also our first theme which has been designed by someone who does not work at Obox HQ.
Izuddin Helmi contacted us in December with one seriously good looking design which he wanted to sell, we didn't even think twice and grabbed it. Since then we have changed its layout and effects every so slightly, but fundamentally it is the same signature style that Izuddin supplied us with.
Unique features include a jQuery Feature Post Slider for the home page, custom Gallery page template as well as ample room to place advertisers around your blog. Depth comes in five different, and very vibrant, color schemes to choose from.

As with all of our latest themes we have packed them with some cool CSS 3 effects which cuts down on the image replacements and page load times. Due to the light weight HTML this theme is very easy to modify (have you had a look at our Approved Theme Modifiers?)
View Depth's demo or go straight on and purchase the theme right here.
OCMX Tweaks
Depth has also received a slightly upgraded OCMX Live control panel. We have moved the menu, re-organized the menu options and also added links to our support forums, hot fixes and documentation.
This is a tiny OCMX upgrade before we redo the whole system. We strongly believe that as of right now OCMX is quite sufficient but we have some groovy idea's to take it past the current version and even our competition. But that is a story for another day.

Thanks Bhavesh ;)
Thanks man!
Nice Design,
Id like to elaborate on your comment ::: first design not designed in house :::
I think you will find this a viable option going forward. Every designer has his/her own personality and this will always be evident in design. This could have a positive effect on your theme pool.
You might not like minimalistic outlays therefore you might not create some. You could acquire some from other designers, in return satisfying a possible need.
Cheers
@Michael - I completely agree, we are very keen to see how this theme does. If it matches our expectations then we will definitely start looking at other designers.
I realize that I cant be the only one creating the themes because my skills arent diverse enough. There is no harm in getting top designers to do the dirty work.
Hopefully this is the start of something new :)
@David . I would not call it dirty work, some love simple design more than others ... you might be more inclined to effective marketing, finding a good balance is what will bring long term success to your current business plan & exposure.
I think "BOB" (respect) has proved this for you guys, not masses working rather sustainabile long term planning and sticking to a winning formula.
Cheers
@Mike - Excuse me, dirty work was the wrong word. I meant it in the context of the stress of coming up with something creative and new.
RE Bob, yeah, its important to know what works and then stick to it with a little bit of flexibility :)
@David
No, I definitely understood what you meant , coding can be a real mud bath :)
Cheers
@Mike - Lol, which is why I leave that up to Marc :P
